I control the layout with a Gaugemaster
handheld controller. I chose the WS
model which has an inertia feature.
The controller
works with a transformer. I chose the Gaugemaster model, which dimensions
(bychance) correspond exactly to the space available under the module. To
avoid problems with the foamboard due to heat, I decided to fix the
transformer on top of a plywood board for isolation. To do that, I had to
dig a cradle for the board with a styrene-modelling iron.
