The first switch ground throw before the paint job (picture

Brass scratchbuilding of a
fully working ground throw. It is a bit larger than scale, to ensure
strength.
The throw base is made out of printed circuit board base, so that the
throw can be soldered onto it. The actuating bar (near the coin) is made of music wire.
A phosphorous bronze wire is attached to the throw and passes through the
PC board. It makes alternate contact with two pieces of brass wires to
commute the frog. The common (black) wire is linked to the throw itself
(the wire is soldered to the PC board).
